Our owners, Mark and Mike Forszt, began their venture with Harley-Davidson back in February of 1996. They purchased the dealership from a retiring dealer, and immediately built a 20,000 square foot designer building. In September 1996, this building, located in Valparaiso, was opened for business. Since these humble beginnings, our dealership has grown by leaps and bounds.
In March of 1998, we opened our Harley-Davidson of Kokomo location. The Kokomo store duplicated our Valparaiso location in both size and quality.
In May of 1999, we opened the Harley-Davidson Shop of Michigan City. This location was built to exceed our previous endeavors without changing what we know our customers demand from us.
Most recently, we opened our newest and largest dealership in Plainfield, Indiana. Indywest Harley-Davidson offers the best in customer service.
Although we have grown into a multi-location dealership, our goals have never changed. Mark and Mike's focus is to expand the motorcycle market in all directions, which will open the motorcycle experience to an ever-growing group of new Harley® motorcycle riders. Our most important goal is to give our customers the satisfaction that they deserve. This commitment to excellence will continue well into the new millennium... Ride on!
